Managing College Money Already Earned

Before college students can even think about saving money, they must first learn to manage the money they have already obtained.

The first thing to do is start a free checking and savings account. Students should make sure it's a free account, not one that will charge a monthly or yearly fee. If students choose the savings option, they should remember to save all their change. Every day, they should dump all leftover change in a jar, and take it to a bank with a coin machine when the jar is full to deposit in the savings and checking accounts.
